Thank you to all these candidates for stepping up and giving their time to help to continue to make HMS a wonderfully vibrant and inclusive community.

Committee Chair Positions OPEN!

We need people to help our New Executive Board make things happen at HMS next school year!  Can you help us in 2020-2021?

  • Spirit Wear Coordinator – We need a coordinator—someone who sets up 3 sales a year with C&M, shares with the board and makes it happen!  C&M creates the webpage and manages the $$ and distribution.  You just coordinate!
  • Facebook Communication Chair – We need someone who takes the important info from our weekly e-blasts and posts them on our FB page to improve our communication!  Do you love FB…can you help us out?
  • 6th Grade Dance Chairs – We need 2 people to make 6th grade dance a success–October 2020
  • 7th Grade Dance Chairs – We need 2 people to make 7th grade dance happen–May 2021
  • School Board Representatives – Do you attend the school board meetings? Are you interested in district wide programming/initiatives?  Could you attend 1 meeting a month and type up a summary of what was discussed to keep our HMS Families informed?  Looking for 2 people!
  • Teacher/Staff Appreciation Committee – We think we have a couple people to LEAD….need some helpers to make our teachers feel special (Throughout the year)
  • Book Fair Co-Chair – We have one chair…but need 1 more!  Do you love books?  Help us coordinate with our awesome school librarian to see books–Late Fall 2020!
  • Nominating Chair – March-May 2021 job;  Help the Executive Board recruit and communicate to possible new board members for the next year.  Explain the duties of each position, collect their BIOS and present them to the Executive Board.  (A whole documnet ready for you to use)
  • Summer Helpers–Watering Flowers @ School–Do you live close to HMS?  Do you love plants?  Could you volunteer during the summer to water our outdoor plants!  Our person in charge will give you the low down!
